Switch LAN 8 porte IMOU SF108C 100 Mb/s — unmanaged 8x porte Ethernet 100 Mbps

8-Port 100 Mb/s IMOU SF108C LAN Switch

The IMOU SF108C LAN Switch provides fast and stable network connectivity with its 8 RJ45 ports. It offers automatic speed negotiation in the range of 10/100 Mbps, and the Auto MDI/MDIX feature eliminates the need for crossover cables. Additionally, the 802.3X Flow Control protocol ensures efficient data flow control. The device is easy to install and hassle-free, and the Plug & Play feature ensures user convenience.

Instant Connection

The SF108C model provides high throughput and connection flexibility. It is equipped with 8 RJ45 ports, making it perfect for managing heavy data traffic and ensuring the performance required by modern network applications. All ports support Auto-Negotiation, allowing for automatic data transmission speed adjustment from 10 to 100 Mbps. As a result, the switch is widely compatible with various devices and allows for connection speed optimization based on current needs, ensuring smooth and efficient network operation, whether you are sending large files, streaming high-resolution videos, or using advanced applications.

Effective Data Flow Management

The device supports the advanced 802.3X Flow Control feature, ensuring stability and efficiency in data flow within the network. The flow control mechanism employed allows for managing and coordinating data transmission between the switch and connected devices, which is crucial during high network loads. As a result, the switch effectively prevents data packet loss and reduces the risk of network congestion—making it an excellent solution for both advanced home applications and demanding business users.

Efficient Performance

The switch is unmanaged, translating into user-friendly operation without the need for complicated configuration. It offers a total throughput of 1.6 Gbps and a packet forwarding rate of 0.1488 Mpps per port. The packet buffer memory is 768 Kb, enabling efficient handling of network traffic. The device also supports Jumbo frames up to 2K and features a 2K MAC address table. It also provides protection against surges up to 2 KV in common mode and 1 KV in differential mode.

Easy Configuration

The Auto MDI/MDIX feature allows the IMOU switch to automatically detect the type of connected cable, eliminating the need for special crossover cables and simplifying the network configuration process. Another advantage is Plug & Play, a feature that ensures immediate device operation—no additional drivers need to be installed.

Thoughtful Design

The device's housing is made of high-quality plastic, providing both lightweight (86 g) and durability. The switch's dimensions are only 133.2 x 62 x 21 mm, allowing for easy wall mounting or placement on a desk.

How to use

Place the IMOU SF108C on a desk or mount it on a wall, connect the included DC 5V/1A power adapter, and plug Ethernet cables into the RJ45 ports. Connected devices will negotiate link speed automatically (10/100 Mbps) and the switch will begin forwarding traffic immediately without additional configuration or drivers.

Recommendations

For stable operation, install the switch in a dry, ventilated location with ambient temperature between 0 °C and 40 °C. Use quality Ethernet cables and avoid exposing the device to strong electrical interference despite built-in surge protection. The SF108C is not PoE-capable; use a separate power source for powered devices such as IP cameras if required.
