The DS223 is a diskless NAS by default, but this bundle includes two 8TB IronWolf drives pre-installed or included in the box. It supports both 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch SATA drives, and the front USB port allows quick external drive access. The unit operates quietly and consumes only 16.31 watts during access, making it energy-efficient for always-on use.
