Tassello Fischer SX 14 x 70

The Fischer SX 14 x 70 expansion plug is made of durable nylon and designed for secure fixing in solid and hollow building materials. With four-way expansion it transfers forces optimally into the base material, and the edge on the head prevents the plug from slipping into the drill hole. The plug is grey, 70 mm long with a required drill diameter of 14 mm and a minimum drill hole depth of 90 mm; each pack contains 20 pieces.

Advantages

Four-way expansion provides optimum force transmission and high holding values in both solid and hollow substrates. The head edge simplifies installation by preventing the plug from falling deeper into the drill hole. The design avoids expansion pressure on the plug neck, reducing the risk of damage to tiles or plaster. Manufactured from high-quality nylon for a durable, permanent connection.

Suitable for

• Fixing lights and lighting fixtures
• Mounting strips and profiles
• Securing bath and toilet installations
• Installing lightweight wall cupboards and cabinets

How to use

Drill a hole with a 14 mm drill bit to at least 90 mm depth according to the mounting location. Clean the hole of dust and debris, then insert the Fischer SX 14 x 70 expansion plug until the head rests against the surface. Place the fixture and drive a suitable screw into the plug. The plug expands four ways to transfer load into the base material and secure the fixing.

Recommendations

Use appropriate screws for the substrate and the load type. For hollow or weak substrates consider using longer screws or additional fixing points. Do not exceed recommended drill diameter or depth; follow site-specific requirements and local building regulations.
