Tassello in metallo per pareti cave Fischer HM 5 x 52 S

The fischer metal cavity fixing HM 5 x 52 S is a versatile metal anchor for secure mounting in hollow walls and board building materials. Made of metal with a length of 52 mm, it is intended for use with metric screws and can be installed with the fischer HM-Z 1 installation pliers, a screwdriver, or a cordless screwdriver. The anchor expands inside the cavity: expanding arms swing open and press against the reverse side of the board to create a large supporting surface and high load capacity. Each pack contains 50 pieces.

Advantages

The HM 5 x 52 S allows repeated removal and reinstallation of attachments without reducing load-carrying properties, increasing flexibility during installation and maintenance. Its large expansion arms provide a wide bearing surface that delivers high load capacity in hollow wall applications. A turning lock with claws on the edge secures the fixing in board building materials for convenient, reliable assembly.

Suitable for

• Mounting lights in hollow walls
• Fixing towel rails and bathroom accessories
• Installing curtain rails and light shelving on board materials

Key specifications

How to use

Drill a hole of the specified diameter and depth into the board material. Insert the HM 5 x 52 S anchor into the hole until it sits flush. For pre-positioned installation use the fischer HM-Z 1 installation pliers: pull the anchor into the cavity so the expanding arms open and press against the reverse side of the board. Alternatively, set the anchor using a screwdriver or cordless screwdriver, driving the metric screw to expand the arms and secure the fixing. After expansion, attach the fixture and tighten the screw to the required torque.

Recommendations

Use the specified drill diameter and minimum drill hole depth to achieve the stated load capacity. Select a suitable metric screw length to allow correct expansion of the arms. For repeated removals and reinstallation, check that the board material is intact and not damaged before refitting.
