Tefal IG602A Macchina per gelato 1,6 l bianco/grigio

The Tefal IG602A brings homemade ice cream within reach without the bulk or noise of compressor machines. Its pre-freeze bowl design keeps the unit compact and quiet, while the 1.6-litre capacity is ideal for family desserts or experimenting with sorbets and frozen yogurt. Unlike many entry-level models, the bowl is aluminium with a non-stick coating, so releasing frozen treats is effortless and cleanup is quick.

Highlights

• 1.6-litre aluminium bowl with non-stick coating for easy scooping and cleaning
• Pre-freeze accumulator system: no compressor, no noise, no bulky footprint
• Transparent lid with ingredient opening lets you add mix-ins mid-churn
• Dishwasher-safe bowl, paddle, and lid for effortless maintenance
• Anti-slip feet keep the unit stable during operation
• Includes recipe book to inspire classic and creative flavours

In daily use

Plan ahead: place the bowl in the freezer for 12–24 hours before churning. Once frozen, assemble the unit, pour in your chilled mixture, and switch it on. The paddle rotates slowly to incorporate air and prevent ice crystals, producing a smooth, creamy texture in 20–40 minutes depending on the recipe. The transparent lid lets you monitor progress, and the ingredient opening allows you to add chocolate chips, nuts, or fruit without stopping the machine. After churning, transfer the ice cream to a freezer-safe container for a firmer consistency, or enjoy it straight away as soft serve.
