Telecamera di videosorveglianza IP Hikvision DS-2CD2143G2-IU Dome 2680 x 1520 pixel

The Hikvision DS-2CD2143G2-IU Dome 2680 x 1520 pixels is an outdoor IP security camera designed for wired surveillance installations. It delivers a 2680 x 1520 pixel resolution from a CMOS sensor and uses a fixed 4 mm lens to provide an 84° horizontal and 45° vertical field of view. The dome housing supports ceiling or wall mounting and the unit is finished in white. The camera supports Ethernet LAN connectivity and provides up to 30 fps frame rate for smooth video capture.

Advantages

This camera combines high-resolution imaging with a compact dome form factor suitable for outdoor use. The fixed 4 mm lens and the specified viewing angles allow for medium-range coverage with clear detail. A wide rotation range of 355° in its mounting enables flexible alignment during installation, and built-in motion detection helps reduce storage and monitoring load by flagging activity. Wired Ethernet connectivity ensures a stable network link for continuous recording and remote viewing.

Suitable for

• Perimeter monitoring of small to medium outdoor areas
• Entrance and driveway surveillance
• Monitoring of building facades and parking lots
• Outdoor retail or commercial property surveillance

How to use

Install the dome camera on a stable ceiling or wall location that gives an unobstructed view of the monitored area. Use the camera's rotation and mounting adjustments to align the 4 mm lens to the intended field of view. Connect the camera to the local network using an Ethernet cable and configure network settings and user accounts through the Hikvision management software or compatible NVR. Adjust motion detection parameters and frame rate to balance between recording quality and storage use. Ensure the camera is positioned and sealed according to outdoor installation best practices to prevent water ingress.

Recommendations

For reliable outdoor performance, mount the camera under an overhang when possible, route Ethernet cables through weatherproof conduits, and use a surge protector on the power/network supply. Calibrate motion detection sensitivity to the specific environment to reduce false alerts and schedule regular lens cleaning and firmware updates to maintain image quality and security.
