Telecamera IP Hikvision DS-2CD2143G2-LIS2U 2,8 mm

The Hikvision DS-2CD2143G2-LIS2U 2.8mm is a 4MP IP camera engineered for everyday surveillance tasks in residential and commercial settings. It delivers high-resolution video with a fixed 2.8mm lens, integrated IR illumination for low-light and night operation, and on-device analytics for motion detection. The camera uses H.265+ video compression to reduce bandwidth and storage requirements while maintaining clear image quality. Designed for reliable 24/7 monitoring, the unit combines durable construction and weather resistance suitable for a range of indoor and sheltered outdoor installations.

Advantages

The camera provides 4MP resolution for detailed video capture and a wide 2.8mm field of view to cover common surveillance areas without frequent repositioning. H.265+ compression lowers storage and network load, enabling longer retention on the same storage capacity. Built-in IR illumination ensures usable images at night, and the camera’s motion detection and smart analytics reduce false alarms by focusing on relevant events. The compact design simplifies mounting and integration with standard IP video systems.

Suitable for

• Home security monitoring for entrances, driveways, and yards
• Small business surveillance in retail, offices, and storage rooms
• Perimeter and common-area monitoring in residential complexes
• Supplementing existing CCTV systems with IP-based cameras

Key specifications

• Image sensor and resolution: 4MP (megapixel) video
• Lens: fixed 2.8mm for wide-angle coverage
• Night vision: integrated infrared LEDs for low-light performance
• Video compression: H.265+ for reduced bandwidth and storage use
• Analytics: built-in motion detection and basic smart event filtering
• Installation: compact dome form factor suitable for ceiling or wall mounting
• Housing: weather-resistant for sheltered outdoor or indoor use

How to use

Install the camera at the chosen location using appropriate mounting hardware, ensuring the 2.8mm lens has an unobstructed view of the monitored area. Connect the camera to the local network via Ethernet or PoE according to your network setup, and configure IP settings using the provided device utility or web interface. Adjust exposure, IR mode, and motion detection parameters to match scene lighting and desired sensitivity. Integrate the camera with a network video recorder (NVR) or compatible VMS to centralize recording, playback, and event management.

Recommendations

Position the camera at a height and angle that minimize direct exposure to bright light sources and reduce backlighting. Use H.265+ compression with appropriate bitrates to balance image quality and storage needs. Regularly check firmware updates and perform periodic cleaning of the dome cover to maintain image clarity and reliable operation.
