tesa Nastro di precisione per mascheratura 4440 Outdoor UV PLUS, blu, 50 m x 30 mm 04440-00002-00

Precision masking tape for outdoor painting with UV resistance up to 6 months. The extra-thin washi paper backing provides sharp paint edges and conforms well to smooth and slightly rough surfaces, while the acrylic adhesive ensures reliable adhesion and residue-free removal even after prolonged sun exposure.

Advantages

This tape is specifically engineered for professional outdoor use. Its UV resistance prevents the adhesive from degrading or leaving residue when exposed to sunlight for up to 6 months. The thin, flexible backing allows for precise masking on curved and irregular surfaces, and the tape can be torn by hand for quick application. It is suitable for both water-based and solvent-based paints, and it withstands short-term temperatures up to 100°C, making it compatible with common paint drying processes.

Suitable for

• Outdoor painting projects on wood, PVC, glass, and metal
• Professional painters and decorators requiring clean, sharp paint lines
• Masking areas that will be exposed to sunlight for extended periods
• Use with water-based and solvent-based paints
• Applications requiring residue-free removal after up to 6 months

Recommendations

For best results, apply the tape to clean, dry surfaces at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C. Press down firmly to ensure good adhesion, especially on rough surfaces. Remove the tape slowly at a 45-degree angle after painting, ideally before the paint fully cures, to achieve the sharpest edges. Store the tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
