Therm-a-Rest RidgeRest Classic Materassino 51 x 183 cm Charcoal

The Therm-a-Rest RidgeRest Classic sleeping pad delivers a high R-value of 2.6 in an ultralight 400-gram closed-cell foam design, making it a cornerstone of minimalist sleep systems for backpacking, camping, and mountaineering. Its virtually indestructible crosslinked polyethylene construction resists punctures and abrasions, while the accordion-style peaks and valleys trap air to create a reliable thermal barrier against cold ground. The closed-cell structure prevents water absorption, ensuring consistent insulation even on damp terrain.

Advantages

The RidgeRest Classic is built for resilience and simplicity. The crosslinked polyethylene foam is virtually indestructible, shrugging off punctures and abrasions that would compromise other pads. Its unique accordion-style peaks and valleys trap air to create a thermal barrier against cold ground, while the closed-cell structure prevents water absorption, ensuring consistent insulation even on damp terrain. Weighing just 400 grams, it adds negligible load to your pack, and when rolled, it compresses to a compact 51 x 20 cm bundle that straps easily to a backpack. The pad's rectangular shape provides a stable, full-length sleeping surface, and its simple, maintenance-free design means no inflating, no leaks, and no fuss.
