Unità di distribuzione elettrica Bachmann 800.2332

The Bachmann Power Distribution Unit 800.2332 is a 1U rack-mount PDU in a torsionally rigid aluminium profile, designed for reliable power distribution in server racks and IT cabinets. It provides 11 AC outlets (a mix of C13 and C19), a fixed 2 m supply cable and supports a nominal input of 230 V at up to 16 A. With compact dimensions (482.6 mm × 47 mm × 44 mm) and a 19" format, the unit fits standard racks while offering flexible mounting and long-term durability.

Advantages

The aluminium 1U housing is torsionally rigid and built to withstand regular rack installation. Eleven socket inserts in the 19" format allow connection of multiple devices while maintaining a compact depth. Multi-functional mounting brackets enable different mounting positions, including recessed installation, and the modular design supports project-specific configurations. The integrated 2 m power cable and standardized 230 V/50 Hz rating simplify installation and compatibility with common IT environments.

Suitable for

• Server racks and 19" IT cabinets
• Network closets and data centres with space constraints
• Rack-mounted equipment such as servers, switches and storage devices

How to use

Mount the PDU in a 19" rack using the supplied multi-functional brackets according to the intended orientation (front-mounted or recessed). Connect the fixed 2 m mains cable to a suitable 230 V outlet protected by appropriate upstream overcurrent protection rated for the installation. Plug servers and other rack devices into the C13 and C19 sockets as required, ensuring the total load does not exceed 16 A. Follow usual rack-cabling practices to avoid strain on the sockets and to maintain cooling and accessibility.

Recommendations

Use the PDU in environments with stable mains supply and ensure upstream circuit protection matches local electrical codes. Distribute connected loads across sockets to avoid exceeding the 16 A rating, and schedule periodic inspections for secure connections and any signs of wear on the cable or sockets.
