SSD disk PNY 500GB M.2 2280 PCI-E x4 Gen3 NVMe M280CS2230-500-RB

The PNY CS2230 500GB M.2 NVMe SSD is an excellent choice for anyone wanting to upgrade their computer from a SATA SSD to a much faster NVMe solution. It suits both desktops and laptops with an NVMe interface, delivering read speeds up to 3300 MB/s and write speeds up to 2500 MB/s for faster operating-system, application and game launches and better overall system responsiveness — startup, shutdown and application loading up to 6x faster than SATA-based SSDs. With no moving parts it is highly durable and less prone to failure, runs quietly and stays cool with low power consumption. Specifications: capacity 500GB, interface PCI-Express NVMe, form factor M.2 2280, read up to 3300 MB/s, write up to 2500 MB/s, MTBF 1,500,000 hours, dimensions 8 x 2.2 x 0.4 cm, weight 0.0066 kg. Model: CS2230. Installation: shut down the computer and disconnect power, locate an available M.2 2280 slot, remove any mounting screw, insert the drive at a slight angle into the M.2 connector, press down and secure with the screw, then reconnect power and boot; if using it as a system drive, initialise and format the SSD or clone an existing drive.
