Valvola Gardena 7231-20

The Gardena 7231-20 valve is an intermediate non-return valve made of solid brass with a 33.3 mm (G 1") thread. It prevents backflow of pumping media when a pump is switched off, ensuring reliable one-directional flow in garden irrigation and water distribution systems.

Advantages

Constructed from solid brass for durability and corrosion resistance. Designed to fit a 33.3 mm (G 1") connector for straightforward installation. Provides reliable prevention of backflow to protect pumps and maintain consistent system pressure. Gold-colored finish for a standard Gardena appearance and easy identification within irrigation setups.

Suitable for

• Garden irrigation systems
• Connection to pumps and pressure lines
• Preventing siphoning and backflow in outdoor water systems
• Use with Gardena-compatible fittings and hoses

How to use

Install the valve inline between the pump outlet and the irrigation line, ensuring the thread engages securely with a matching 33.3 mm (G 1") connector. Tighten by hand or with appropriate tools without over-torquing to avoid damage to threads. Confirm the valve orientation allows flow from the pump toward the irrigation system; the valve prevents reverse flow when the pump stops.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, periodically inspect the valve and connections for leaks or corrosion. Use compatible G 1" fittings and avoid excessive mechanical stress on the threads during installation. Replace the valve if wear or significant corrosion is observed.
