Cavo InfiniBand/fibra ottica Goobay 95933 0,5 m LC rosa

InfiniBand/Fibre optic cable Goobay 95933, 0.5 m, pink, multimode duplex (50/125 µm) with LC–LC connectors. The cable is designed for use in offices, industrial environments and data centres and provides full-duplex transmission. Both ends are fitted with LC-duplex connectors and protective dust covers. The halogen-free, flame-retardant sheath increases safety in enclosed spaces. Each cable is supplied with a test protocol. Typical maximum transmission distances vary by fibre grade and data rate.

Advantages

This Goobay LC–LC OM4 multimode cable supports laser-optimized transmission characteristics for higher bandwidth over short to medium distances. The duplex LC connectors ensure compact, reliable connections compatible with InfiniBand and fibre optic equipment. A halogen-free, flame-retardant jacket improves installation safety, and included test documentation verifies cable performance. The pink jacket makes cable identification in patch panels and racks easier.

Suitable for

• Office and commercial network connections
• Data centre patching and short-range backbone links
• InfiniBand connections and fibre-optic appliance links
• Equipment racks and patch panels requiring colour-coded cabling

How to use

Connect each LC duplex connector to the corresponding LC port on your network device or patch panel, observing correct transmit/receive orientation. Remove protective dust covers before insertion and replace them when the cable is disconnected to protect the fibre endfaces. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid kinking; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for multimode fibre. Verify link status on connected devices and consult the supplied test protocol for performance verification.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this OM4 multimode cable for short- to medium-distance links where 10 Gbit/s and lower data rates are required. Select appropriate OM-grade fibres according to your required data rate and distance: OM4 offers extended reach for 10 Gbit/s compared with OM2/OM3. Label and colour-code cables in racks to simplify maintenance and reduce downtime.
