Cavo patch Goobay CAT 6 S/FTP PiMF magenta 5m

The Goobay CAT 6 Patch Cable S/FTP (PiMF) in magenta is a 5 m network cable designed for high-speed data transmission up to 10,000 Mbit/s. It combines gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, high-quality inner conductors and S/FTP shielding to provide stable connections with reduced electromagnetic interference, suitable for home and business networks.

Advantages

The cable’s S/FTP (PiMF) construction minimizes crosstalk and external interference, while gold-plated RJ-45 plugs improve conductivity and corrosion resistance. A robust sheath and precise connector fit ensure mechanical durability and reliable signal transmission over the full 5 m length. The magenta color helps with cable identification in complex installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and network sockets in home networks
• Wiring office workstations and small business networks
• High-speed data transfer for multimedia streaming and file sharing
• Structured cabling where color-coded identification is needed

Key specifications

• Standard: CAT 6
• Shielding: S/FTP (PiMF)
• Length: 5 m
• Connector: RJ-45 with gold plating
• Maximum data rate: up to 10,000 Mbit/s
• Brand: WENTRONIC (Goobay product)

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (router, switch or network socket) and the other plug to the target device (PC, NAS, media player). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to guarantee a secure mechanical and electrical contact. Avoid tight bends and excessive pulling on the cable to maintain performance and longevity.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources such as mains transformers or unshielded power cables; when installing multiple cables, maintain orderly routing and use the magenta color for easy identification in rack or wall installations.
