Cavo patch piatto Goobay CAT 6 5m U/UTP blu

The Goobay CAT 6 Flat Patch Cable (5 m) provides reliable, high-speed data transmission for home and office networks. Its flat design makes it suitable for discreet installation behind skirting boards, under carpets or wooden floors while maintaining stable connections through high-quality inner conductors and precisely fitted RJ-45 plugs with gold plating for improved conductivity.

Advantages

The flat cable construction enables low-profile routing in tight spaces and reduces visible cable bulk. U/UTP shielding and quality conductor materials support consistent signal integrity and reduced interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure durable contact and efficient signal transfer for gigabit-capable applications.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, routers, switches and networked devices in home or office environments
• Installing discreet network runs behind skirting boards
• Running cables under carpets or wooden flooring where a flat profile is required

Key specifications

• Category: CAT 6
• Length: 5 m
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall unshielded with individually unshielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Color: Blue
• Design: Flat cable profile for low-height installation

How to use

Route the flat patch cable along the desired path, tucking it behind skirting boards or under flooring where needed. Insert RJ-45 plugs into the network ports of devices such as routers, switches or computers until they click into place. Ensure bends are gentle and avoid sharp kinks to maintain signal performance.

Recommendations

For best long-term performance, avoid tight bends and compression of the flat cable under heavy furniture; keep connector contacts free of dust and ensure a secure plug connection.
