Access point wireless Zyxel NWA50BE PRO Wi‑Fi 7 2.4/5/6 GHz 5764 Mbps PoE bianco

Zyxel NWA50BE PRO is a Wi‑Fi 7 access point designed for small businesses, home offices and compact workspaces. It operates across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands with a combined maximum throughput of 5764 Mbps. The device supports WPA/WPA2/WPA3 security, Nebula cloud management, and flexible installation via Power over Ethernet or a single 1G/2.5G-capable RJ-45 port. Its compact white enclosure and internal antennas keep the unit discreet while delivering multi-gigabit wireless performance.

Advantages

The NWA50BE PRO delivers enterprise-style Wi‑Fi 7 performance in a cost-effective, compact form factor thanks to a Qualcomm quad-core CPU and dual-radio design. Smart Mesh MLO (Multiple Link Operation) provides dual-radio backhaul for greater bandwidth, improved interference resistance and lower latency compared with single-radio mesh systems. Nebula cloud management simplifies deployment and ongoing monitoring with real-time alerts and an intuitive mobile app for fast setup and remote configuration. Power over Ethernet and a 2.5GbE-capable port enable multi-gigabit speeds without requiring immediate upgrades to existing cabling.

Suitable for

• Home offices and remote work environments
• Small business offices and meeting rooms
• Small retail stores, clinics or public venues requiring reliable Wi‑Fi
• Environments where easy cloud management and quick setup are needed

When it may not be suitable

The NWA50BE PRO is tailored for SoHo and small-business environments; it may not meet the scale or advanced feature requirements of large enterprise deployments that need centralized controllers, advanced traffic-shaping appliances, or very high-density AP planning. Also, to achieve maximum multi-gigabit throughput from the access point, upstream network infrastructure should support 2.5GbE or higher.

Key specifications

• Radio bands: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, 6 GHz
• Maximum aggregated throughput: 5764 Mbps
• Radio streams: 2x2 on 2.4 GHz, 2x2 on 5/6 GHz (dual-radio)
• Ethernet: single RJ‑45 port, supports 1G/2.5G LAN speeds
• Power: Power over Ethernet (PoE) support
• Security: WPA, WPA2, WPA3
• Management: Nebula cloud management (NebulaFlex)
• Physical: internal antennas, colour: white, weight: 0.412 kg

How to use

Mount the access point in the desired location and connect it to your local network using the RJ‑45 port; use PoE for simplified installation if your switch supports it. Launch the Nebula mobile app and follow the setup wizard to adopt the AP into your cloud network, configure SSIDs and security settings (WPA3 recommended where supported), and apply any site-wide policies. Monitor performance and receive alerts through Nebula’s dashboard or mobile notifications.

What to consider before purchase

• Ensure upstream switch or router supports 1G/2.5G to utilise higher-than-gigabit speeds
• Confirm PoE capability on your network switch if you prefer a single-cable installation
• Assess coverage needs and placement to benefit from dual-radio Smart Mesh MLO backhaul
• Verify Nebula cloud management meets your organisation’s monitoring and privacy requirements

Recommendations

Place the AP centrally in the coverage area and avoid large physical obstructions. Use Nebula for initial setup and to maintain firmware updates. Enable WPA3 where client devices support it and consider mesh MLO to extend coverage while retaining higher throughput and lower latency.
