ACT 0,5 metri multimode 50/125 OM3 duplex cavo patch in fibra ottica corazzato con connettori LC

The ACT 0.5m Multimode 50/125 OM3 Duplex Armored LC fiber patch cable is a 0.5 meter multimode duplex cable with LC connectors on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter. Designed for high-speed data transmission, this armored fiber patch cable provides reliable connectivity and physical protection, suitable for data centers, network racks and industrial installations where increased mechanical resistance is required.

Advantages

The metal armor covering the cable increases resistance to crushing, abrasion and accidental mechanical damage while maintaining fiber performance for OM3 multimode transmission. Duplex LC termination provides compact, hot-pluggable connections and supports full-duplex data links. Short 0.5 m length reduces excess cable in dense cabling environments and helps maintain neat, organized patching.

How to use

Connect each LC connector to the corresponding LC ports on your transceivers, patch panels or network equipment, ensuring correct polarity for duplex links. Route the armored patch cable avoiding sharp bends and excessive tensile stress; the armor provides protection but standard cable handling practices should still be observed. For short patch runs use appropriate cable management to secure and separate fibers from power cables and sources of mechanical wear.

Recommendations

The armored ACT OM3 duplex patch cable is recommended where fibers are exposed to potential mechanical damage or abrasion. Use in environments with high foot traffic, moving machinery or outdoor/industrial exposures. Verify connector cleanliness before mating and follow manufacturer guidance for bend radius and installation practices to maintain optical performance.
