ACT 50 metri LSZH multimodale 50/125 OM3 cavo patch in fibra ottica duplex con connettori LC

The ACT 50 meter LSZH Multimode 50/125 OM3 fiber patch cable with duplex LC connectors is a pre-terminated multimode optical link designed for indoor network connections. The cable uses 50/125 µm multimode fibers specified to OM3 performance and terminates in LC duplex connectors to support high-speed, short-to-medium reach data transmission. The outer jacket is made from low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) material to limit toxic and corrosive gas emissions in case of fire, making the cable suitable for installations where reduced smoke and halogen-free materials are required.

Advantages

This fiber patch cable provides a balanced combination of multimode performance and compact duplex LC connectivity, enabling reliable full duplex data transfer between network devices. The OM3 fiber specification supports higher modal bandwidth compared to lower multimode grades, allowing improved performance for gigabit and some 10 gigabit applications over short-to-medium distances. The LSZH jacket reduces the release of harmful fumes, increasing safety in enclosed spaces such as data centers, server rooms and office buildings. Pre-terminated connectors simplify installation and reduce onsite termination time.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting switches, transceivers and patch panels in data centers
• Horizontal and rack-to-rack links within office environments
• Structured cabling in buildings where LSZH materials are mandated

Key specifications

• Cable length: 50 meters
• Fiber type: Multimode 50/125 µm
• Modal specification: OM3
• Connector type: Duplex LC connectors
• Jacket material: Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH)
• Communication mode: Full duplex

How to use

Route the ACT 50 meter LSZH Multimode 50/125 OM3 duplex LC cable between the two intended endpoints, avoiding sharp bends and mechanical stress on the cable. Insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC adapter or transceiver port until it clicks, ensuring correct polarity for duplex connections. Secure the cable along cable trays or within racks using appropriate fiber-friendly clips or ties to prevent strain. Do not exceed the minimum bend radius indicated by standard multimode fiber handling practices and avoid exposure to high temperatures or crushing forces.

Recommendations

Use this cable for indoor optical links where OM3 multimode performance and LSZH materials are required. Verify connector cleanliness before mating and use dust caps when connectors are not in use. For links approaching the upper reach of OM3 performance for high-speed applications, confirm system budget and transceiver compatibility to ensure required signal margin.
