ACT bianco 0,5 metri LSZH SFTP CAT6A cavo patch con protezione linguetta e connettori RJ45

The ACT White 0.5 meter LSZH SFTP CAT6A patch cable is a short, high-performance networking cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections in confined spaces. It features snagless RJ45 connectors on both ends, gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance, and S/FTP shielding that combines individual foil shielding with an overall braided shield to reduce electromagnetic interference. The LSZH jacket minimizes smoke and halogen emissions in case of fire, making this CAT6A cable suitable for installations where reduced toxic fume output is required.

Advantages

This CAT6A patch cable provides high-speed data transmission suitable for 10 Gbps networks over short runs while maintaining signal integrity through S/FTP shielding. The snagless RJ45 boots protect the connector latch during installation in tight rack or patch-panel environments. Gold-plated contacts ensure stable electrical contact and longer connector life. The LSZH outer jacket reduces the release of harmful gases and smoke if the cable is exposed to high temperatures, supporting safer use in restricted or poorly ventilated areas.

Suitable for

• Patch panels and network switches in server rooms and communication cabinets
• Short cable runs between devices in racks, desks, and wall-mounted outlets
• Environments requiring low-smoke, halogen-free cabling such as public transport, offices, and enclosed spaces

Key specifications

• Category: CAT6A (Augmented Category 6)
• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (foil on each pair + overall braided shield)
• Connectors: RJ‑45 to RJ‑45, snagless boots
• Contacts: Gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity
• Jacket material: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• CPR Euroclass compatibility: Eca
• Color: White

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to the network device (switch, router, patch panel) and the other end to the target device (server, workstation, or network interface). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable to maintain shielding effectiveness and prevent damage to the LSZH jacket. For best performance, use this cable for short interconnections where CAT6A bandwidth and S/FTP shielding are required.

Recommendations

For optimal signal integrity, keep cable bends gentler than the recommended minimum bend radius and route away from high‑power electrical cables. Use in indoor installations or enclosed transport applications where LSZH properties are important. Inspect connectors before installation to ensure gold-plated contacts are clean and free of debris.
