ACT grigio 10 metri LSZH U/UTP CAT6 cavo patch slimline per data center con scarico di trazione e connettori RJ45

ACT Grey 10m LSZH U/UTP CAT6 Patch Cable Snagless RJ45 is a slimline CAT6 patch cord with a 10 m length and snagless RJ45 connectors. The cable has a reduced diameter (approx. 3.8 mm) compared with standard CAT6 patch cords, which lowers bending radius and improves airflow in server racks and network cabinets. The cable uses U/UTP construction, gold-plated contacts and a low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) jacket suitable for datacenter and structured-cabling environments.

Advantages

The slimline design reduces cable bulk and helps maintain better rack airflow while occupying less space in cable managers. Snagless RJ45 connectors protect the plug latch during installation and the gold-plated contacts support reliable signal transfer. The LSZH jacket limits smoke and halogen emissions in case of fire. The U/UTP CAT6 construction provides performance up to CAT6 parameters, although the smaller conductor diameter can increase attenuation at higher frequencies compared with thicker AWG cables.

How to use

Route the ACT CAT6 slimline patch cable between the network equipment ports, ensuring the RJ45 plug is fully inserted until the latch clicks. Use cable management accessories to maintain bend radius and avoid sharp kinks. For datacenter installations, organize cables in trays or horizontal managers to preserve rack airflow. Verify link status on network devices after connection.

Recommendations

Use up to 24 bundled cables for Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications to limit cable temperature rise; the manufacturer recommends this maximum bundle size so the temperature increase remains within safe limits (ANSI TSB-184-A specifies less than 15 °C rise for the centre cable). If longer-term high-power PoE deployments are planned, consider separating bundles or using cables with larger conductors to reduce attenuation and heat buildup.
