Antenna direzionale MOXA 52305 5 GHz — antenna radio direzionale per banda a 5 GHz

The Directional Antenna MOXA 52305 5 GHz is a focused wireless antenna designed for operation in the 5 GHz frequency band. It supports point-to-point links and directional signal transmission and reception to extend range and improve link reliability in outdoor and industrial environments. The antenna is intended to provide concentrated gain toward a specific azimuth, making it suitable for wireless backhaul, bridge connections and targeted coverage where a directional radiation pattern is required.

Advantages

The antenna delivers directional gain in the 5 GHz band to increase signal strength along the intended path and reduce interference from off-axis sources. Its focused radiation pattern supports stable long-distance links and helps maintain higher throughput in dedicated connections. The design is appropriate for outdoor and industrial deployments where a fixed directional antenna improves link performance and reliability compared with omnidirectional alternatives.

Suitable for

• Point-to-point wireless backhaul between buildings or sites
• Long-range bridge links for networks and surveillance systems
• Targeted coverage where interference suppression and focused gain are needed
• Outdoor industrial wireless installations requiring a directional antenna

Key specifications

• Operating frequency: 5 GHz band
• Radiation pattern: directional
• Application: point-to-point links, wireless backhaul, bridge connections
• Deployment environment: outdoor and industrial use

How to use

Mount the antenna on a suitable mast or bracket with clear line of sight toward the remote endpoint and secure all mechanical fasteners. Align the antenna azimuth and elevation to maximize received signal strength using signal-level tools on the radio or test equipment. Connect the antenna to the wireless radio or access point using a compatible coaxial cable and properly rated connectors, maintaining cable shielding and minimizing cable length to reduce loss. Seal outdoor cable terminations and connections against moisture according to local practices.

Recommendations

Install the antenna with an unobstructed line of sight for best performance and perform fine alignment during installation. Use weatherproof connectors and follow grounding practices suitable for outdoor antennas to protect equipment from lightning and electrostatic discharge.
