Cavo ottico attivo InfiniBand CBO BO353503J15M-BO 15 m SFP+ AOC, ciano

CBO InfiniBand active optical cable BO353503J15M-BO is a 15 m SFP+ AOC in cyan designed for short-reach, high-speed interconnects between switches, servers and storage. As an active optical cable it integrates SFP+ terminations with electrical-to-optical conversion, providing a single-cable solution for reliable 10Gbps-class links with reduced electromagnetic interference and simplified cable management in data center and HPC environments.

Advantages

The cable delivers low-latency performance and stable signal integrity over the full 15 m length thanks to active optical transceivers at each end. Its SFP+ form-factor terminations are hot-pluggable and compatible with devices that support SFP+ AOC interfaces, eliminating the need for separate transceivers and patch cords. The cyan jacket provides easy visual identification for InfiniBand or designated network segments, while the optical link reduces susceptibility to EMI and crosstalk compared with copper alternatives.

How to use

Insert each SFP+ termination into the corresponding SFP+ slot on network equipment until the latch engages. Ensure devices support SFP+ AOC modules and that SFP+ ports are enabled in device firmware or configuration. Route the 15 m cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain the manufacturer's minimum bend radius to preserve optical performance. No separate transceivers or fiber patch cords are required when using this AOC.
