Cavo patch in fibra ottica CBO SFP3233FU5MK 5 m OM4 SC su ST multimodale turchese-viola

Fiber patch cable CBO SFP3233FU5MK is a 5 m multimode OM4 fiber jumper with an SC connector on one end and an ST connector on the other. The turquoise-violet jacket visually identifies OM4 grade fiber designed for high-speed short-range links. This BlueOptics cable is intended for trunking and equipment interconnection in LANs, data centers and telecom racks where low attenuation and increased modal bandwidth are required.

Advantages

The OM4 multimode construction provides improved bandwidth and lower insertion loss compared with lower-grade multimode fibers, supporting reliable transmission over short distances. The combination of SC and ST connectors offers compatibility with a wide range of network devices and passive panels. The 5 m length balances reach and cabling neatness, while the color-coded jacket enables fast visual identification of fiber grade during installation and maintenance.

How to use

Route the 5 m patch cable between the appropriate SC and ST ports, ensuring connectors are clean and free from dust before insertion. Insert the SC connector into the SC adapter or transceiver until it seats securely, and insert the ST connector with a quarter-turn to engage the bayonet coupling. Avoid tight bends and secure the cable with appropriate tie-offs or cable management hardware to maintain minimum bend radius and prevent microbends that can increase loss. If moving or reterminating the cable, always inspect connector endfaces and clean with proper fiber cleaning tools.

Recommendations

Use this OM4 patch cable for short-range, high-bandwidth multimode links and in environments where color-coded identification streamlines installation. Maintain proper bend radius, keep connectors capped when not in use, and perform routine endface cleaning and inspection to ensure low loss and consistent performance.
