Cavo Twinax SFP+ CBO PAN-SFP-PLUS-CU-1M-BL 1 m maschio-maschio 10 Gbit/s

The SFP+ Twinax Cable CBO PAN-SFP-PLUS-CU-1M-BL is a direct-attach copper assembly designed for short-range 10 Gbit/s connections. With 1 meter length and male-to-male SFP+ connectors, this cable provides a low-latency, compact alternative to optical transceivers for linking switches, network interface cards and server ports in rack-to-rack or in-rack environments. Manufactured under the BlueOptics brand, the cable is intended for high-density installations where cost efficiency and straightforward connectivity are priorities.

Advantages

This SFP+ twinax cable delivers 10 Gbit/s data throughput with minimal latency and reduced power consumption compared to active optical solutions. The direct-attach design eliminates the need for separate SFP+ transceiver modules, simplifying deployment and reducing component count. The fixed 1 m length supports tidy cable management in racks and helps maintain consistent signal performance for short-distance links between compatible SFP+ ports.

Key specifications

How to use

Insert each SFP+ connector into compatible SFP+ ports on the networking equipment until the latch engages. Ensure both ends are fully seated and the equipment recognizes the link. Use the cable for short, direct connections where a 1 m length is sufficient. Avoid excessive bending near the connectors and ensure the rack layout prevents undue strain on the cable.

Recommendations

Verify compatibility with the SFP+ port vendor and firmware to ensure link recognition. Route the cable to minimize sharp bends and mechanical stress, and keep twinax assemblies away from sources of electromagnetic interference. For distances beyond the specified short-range use cases, consider optical transceivers and fiber cabling.
