BlueOptics LRCABLE10M Cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand 10 m LC giallo

The BlueOptics LRCABLE10M InfiniBand fibre optic cable 10 m LC Yellow is a 10-metre multimode single-fibre link designed for high-speed data transmission in InfiniBand networks. It uses G.657.A1-grade optical fibre with a 125 µm core diameter and LC connectors at both ends. The yellow jacket and LC terminations identify the cable for easy installation and routing in data centres, server rooms, and networking racks.

Advantages

The cable provides consistent optical performance with a fibre type compliant with G.657.A1, delivering low attenuation and stable signal integrity over the 10 m length. LC connectors offer compact, standardized terminations that are widely compatible with InfiniBand transceivers and patch panels. The 10-metre length balances reach and manageability, reducing the need for intermediate splices or adapters in typical rack-to-rack or equipment-to-equipment connections.

Suitable for

• Rack-to-rack connections in data centres
• Server-to-switch or server-to-HCA (Host Channel Adapter) links
• InfiniBand fabrics and high-performance computing (HPC) clusters
• Patch panel to transceiver connections in networking cabinets

Key specifications

• Length: 10 metres
• Connector type: LC to LC
• Fibre category: G.657.A1
• Core/cladding diameter: 125 µm
• Jacket colour: Yellow

How to use

Route the cable between equipment or patch panels ensuring gentle bends and avoiding sharp kinks; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for G.657.A1 fibre. Clean LC connector endfaces before mating using appropriate fibre cleaning tools to prevent contamination and signal loss. Insert LC connectors into compatible ports until they click into place, and secure any cable management clips or ties to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Store and handle the fibre cable in a dry environment and avoid pulling on the fibre itself; use the cable jacket when applying tension. For long-term installations, label both ends to simplify maintenance and verify compatibility with InfiniBand transceivers and port types before deployment.
