BlueOptics QK735A cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand 15 m LC OM4

The BlueOptics QK735A InfiniBand fibre optic cable 15 m LC OM4 is designed for high-speed data transmission in demanding networking environments. This 15-metre duplex cable uses LC connectors and OM4 multimode fibre with a 125 µm core diameter, providing stable signal integrity and reduced attenuation over moderate distances. It is suitable for installations where predictable performance and compatibility with InfiniBand ports are required.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre cable offers enhanced bandwidth and lower modal dispersion compared with lower-grade multimode fibres, supporting higher data rates and longer reach in modern networks. The LC connectors deliver a compact, high-density connection that simplifies cabling in racks and patch panels. Its 15 m length provides flexibility for connecting equipment across racks or between nearby rooms while maintaining consistent optical performance.

Suitable for

• InfiniBand host channel adapters and switches in data centers
• High-performance computing (HPC) clusters and server interconnects
• Patch panels and structured cabling in enterprise networks
• Short- to medium-distance multimode optic links within technical rooms

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Connector type: LC duplex
• Length: 15 m
• Core diameter: 125 µm
• Cable application: InfiniBand high-speed data links

How to use

Inspect connectors for cleanliness before installation and clean with appropriate fibre-safe cleaning tools if necessary. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; adhere to the minimum bend radius recommended for multimode fibre. Plug LC connectors into the corresponding InfiniBand SFP+/QSFP+ ports or into LC patch panel ports, ensuring secure seating. Test link integrity with suitable optical test equipment after installation to verify signal levels and link performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this OM4 cable in environments that match its multimode design: maintain proper cable management, avoid mechanical stress, and pair with compatible OM4-rated transceivers and connectors. Periodic inspection and cleaning of connector endfaces will help sustain reliable high-speed links.
