BlueOptics SFP2122BU3MX cavo in fibra ottica LC SC G.657.A1 3 m giallo

The BlueOptics SFP2122BU3MX LC SC G.657.A1 3 m Yellow fibre optic cable is designed for reliable short-range optical connections in network environments. It uses a G.657.A1 bend-insensitive singlemode fibre to deliver consistent signal quality and reduced loss in installations that require tight routing paths. The cable comes in a 3 m length with an LC connector on one end and an SC connector on the other, and its yellow sheath provides standard colour coding for singlemode links.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable offers bend-insensitive G.657.A1 fibre construction for improved flexibility and lower microbend losses compared with older singlemode types. The LC-to-SC connector configuration provides broad compatibility with networking equipment that uses these common interfaces. At 3 metres, the cable is long enough for many rack-to-rack or device-to-patch-panel connections while remaining compact and easy to route. The yellow jacket aids in quick identification of singlemode lines during installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Short to medium singlemode connections between transceivers, patch panels and network devices
• InfiniBand and other high-speed networking links requiring singlemode fibre
• Data centre and telecommunication rack cabling with limited space for cable bends
• Upgrading or replacing LC-to-SC singlemode jumpers

Key specifications

• Fibre type: G.657.A1 bend-insensitive singlemode
• Length: 3 m
• Connector A: LC
• Connector B: SC
• Sheath colour: Yellow (singlemode identification)

How to use

Ensure both link endpoints are powered down or in a safe maintenance state before connecting or disconnecting the cable. Align the LC and SC connectors with their mating ports and insert until they click or seat securely. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain bend radii consistent with G.657.A1 recommendations; secure the cable with appropriate ties or management rings to prevent strain on connectors. After installation, power up devices and verify link status and optical signal levels using monitoring tools or the equipment’s diagnostics.

Recommendations

Handle connectors by their ferrule housings and keep protective caps on unused ends to prevent contamination. Clean connector endfaces with suitable fibre cleaning tools if link performance is below expected levels. Store and route the cable to avoid kinks and maintain recommended bend radii for G.657.A1 fibre.
