BlueOptics SFP3131FU3MK cavo InfiniBand fibra ottica 3 m LC OM4

BlueOptics SFP3131FU3MK is a 3 meter duplex fiber optic patch cord with LC/UPC to LC/UPC connectors and laser-optimized multi-mode OM4 fiber (50/125 µm core). The magenta-coloured cable is designed for 850 nm signal transmission and full-duplex connections between patch panels, switches or optical transceivers. The cable features a flame-retardant LSZH jacket and is available in multiple lengths; custom lengths can be requested.

Advantages

The OM4 fiber offers low attenuation (2.5 dB/km) and high return loss, supporting reliable high-speed data transmission. Connectors use zirconia ceramic ferrules from established manufacturers, providing up to 1,500 mating cycles. Each cable is factory-tested with interferometer and OTDR equipment and shipped with a measurement protocol for insertion loss and return loss. The LSZH jacket reduces smoke and avoids halogen emission in fire conditions.

How to use

Inspect connectors and cable for damage before installation. Align LC/UPC connectors with the corresponding LC ports on patch panels or transceivers and insert until the latch clicks. Route the cable using appropriate cable management to avoid tight bends (follow the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius). Verify optical links with appropriate test equipment after connection.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable by the connectors or jacket; avoid touching ferrule endfaces. Clean connector endfaces before mating and protect unused connectors with dust caps. For optimal performance in high-density or high-speed environments, choose OM4 fiber and keep patch cord lengths as short as practical.
