BlueOptics SFP3131GU4MK cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand 4 m LC verde

The BlueOptics SFP3131GU4MK InfiniBand fibre optic cable 4 m LC Green is a multimode OM5 duplex cable designed for high-speed data transmission in data centres and networking environments. With LC connectors on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter, this 4 metre fibre link supports InfiniBand interconnects and short-range high-bandwidth applications where low latency and reliable signal integrity are required.

Advantages

This OM5 fibre cable offers improved modal bandwidth for wavelength-division multiplexing and supports consistent performance across short multi-gigabit links. The LC duplex termination provides a compact connection interface compatible with common transceivers and switches. The 4 m length delivers flexibility for rack-to-rack or within-rack connections while the green jacket simplifies identification of OM5 multimode infrastructure in mixed-fibre installations.

How to use

Inspect both LC connectors and device transceivers for cleanliness before installation. Align and insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC port until it latches securely. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive stress; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for multimode fibre. When removing, depress the latch and pull the connector straight out to avoid damaging the ferrule or port.

Recommendations

Use appropriate fibre cleaning tools and dust caps when the cable is not connected. Label connections according to rack and port schematics to maintain traceability in data centre layouts. For OM5 performance, pair with compatible multimode transceivers and follow vendor guidelines for InfiniBand link configuration and signal budgeting.
