BlueOptics SFP3132EU1MK cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand 1 m LC SC acqua

The BlueOptics SFP3132EU1MK InfiniBand fibre optic cable 1 m LC SC Aqua is a single-meter multimode connection cable designed for high-speed data transmission in network infrastructures. It features LC and SC connector types and uses OM3 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter to provide reliable, full-duplex communication over short to medium distances. The aqua jacket and standardized connector types make it compatible with common InfiniBand and networking ports in data centers and server rooms.

Advantages

This cable provides low attenuation and consistent multimode performance suitable for high-bandwidth applications. The use of OM3 fibre enables improved modal bandwidth for 10 Gigabit and higher Ethernet or InfiniBand links within the supported distance range. Its LC and SC connectors ensure simple mating with a wide range of transceivers and patch panels, while the 1 m length reduces excess slack in dense rack environments.

How to use

Inspect connectors and ports for dirt or damage before installation. Align the LC connector with the LC transceiver or port and insert until it clicks; insert the SC connector into the corresponding SC port until it is secured. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for multimode fibre to prevent attenuation increases. Test the link after installation to confirm signal quality and correct duplex orientation.

Recommendations

Use this OM3 multimode cable for intra-rack and short inter-rack InfiniBand or Ethernet connections where a 1 m length is appropriate. Keep connectors covered when not in use, avoid kinking the cable, and use cable management to minimize stress and maintain performance.
