BlueOptics SFP3132GU2MK Cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand 2 m LC SC verde

The BlueOptics SFP3132GU2MK is a 2 m InfiniBand fibre optic cable with LC and SC connectors, designed for full-duplex high-speed data transmission. Built using OM5 multimode fibre, this cable supports wideband performance and is intended for use in data centers, storage networks and high-performance computing environments where reliable, low-latency interconnects are required.

Advantages

This InfiniBand cable provides predictable signal quality and low insertion loss thanks to its OM5 multimode construction. The combination of LC and SC connectors offers compatibility with a range of transceivers and patch panels, while the 2 m length balances flexibility and rack-friendly routing. The cable is suitable for duplex links and is engineered to maintain stable performance in dense networking setups.

How to use

Inspect both connector endfaces for contamination before installation and clean them if necessary with appropriate fibre cleaning tools. Align and insert the LC connector into the LC port and the SC connector into the SC port until they click or seat securely. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tensile stress; maintain the manufacturer’s recommended minimum bend radius. Verify link status on connected devices and run diagnostic tests to confirm expected throughput and signal integrity.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a dry, dust-free environment; protect connectors with dust caps when not in use. For optimal performance in multi-mode environments, ensure compatible transceivers and patching practices that match OM5 specifications and follow data centre cable management guidelines.
