BlueOptics SFP3333EU1MK cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand 1 m ST aqua

BlueOptics SFP3333EU1MK is a 1 metre duplex fibre optic patch cord with ST/PC to ST/PC connectors, laser-optimized multimode OM3 fibre (G50/125 µm) and an aqua-coloured LSZH jacket. Designed for 850 nm transmission, this InfiniBand-compatible ST–ST OM3 cable supports high-speed full-duplex links between patch panels, transceivers or other fibre endpoints.

Advantages

The cable offers low attenuation (3.5 dB/km), low insertion loss and high return loss, with connector polish options (UPC or 8° APC) available to further optimise reflections. Branded OM3 multimode fibres from manufacturers such as Corning, Fujikura or YOFC and precision connectors with zirconia ceramic ferrules ensure durable, reliable connections rated for up to 1500 mating cycles. Each unit is factory-tested by interferometer and OTDR and shipped with a measured input-loss and return-loss report.

How to use

Ensure both ends are clean and free of dust before insertion. Align each ST connector with the mating port and insert with a quarter-turn bayonet action until it locks. Use appropriate bend radii and cable management to avoid microbends; route the LSZH jacketed cable through the rack or panel openings and secure with cable ties or organizers. If replacing an existing link, verify transmitter and receiver settings and confirm link status after connection.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep connectors capped when not in use, perform regular visual inspection and cleaning with fibre-grade wipes or cleaning tools, and avoid tight bends or crushing. Choose UPC or APC polish according to system return-loss requirements and order custom lengths if standard sizes do not fit the installation.
