Canon RF-S 10-18mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM obiettivo

The Canon RF-S 10-18mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM is an ultra-wide zoom lens designed specifically for APS-C sensor Canon EOS R-series mirrorless cameras. Its compact and lightweight build makes it an ideal travel companion, while the versatile focal range covers everything from expansive landscapes to tight interiors. Unlike typical kit lenses, it incorporates optical image stabilization for sharper handheld shots and a stepping motor for smooth, quiet autofocus during video recording.

Highlights

• Ultra-wide 10-18mm focal length (16-29mm full-frame equivalent) for dramatic perspectives
• Optical Image Stabilization up to 4 stops for sharper handheld images
• STM autofocus motor for fast, near-silent focusing in stills and video
• Compact and lightweight design, perfect for travel and vlogging
• Customizable control ring for direct setting adjustments

In daily use

This lens excels in capturing sweeping landscapes, architectural details, and group shots in tight spaces. The image stabilization compensates for camera shake, allowing you to shoot at slower shutter speeds without a tripod. The STM motor ensures smooth focus transitions when recording video, and the control ring can be customized for aperture, shutter speed, ISO, or exposure compensation. With a minimum focus distance of just 14 cm at 18mm, you can get close to subjects for creative wide-angle close-ups.
