Cavo da installazione DIGITUS Cat.7A S/FTP duplex 500 m Cca, giallo

The Digitus Cat.7A S/FTP installation cable is a structured building-cabling solution designed for high-performance network environments. With support for 10 Gbit Ethernet and a transmission frequency of up to 1500 MHz, the cable is suitable for both analog and digital data transmission. It features individually shielded twisted pairs within an overall tinned-copper braid, offers PoE and PoE+ compatibility, and meets CPR class Cca for reduced flammability.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding (individually shielded pairs plus an overall braid) provides strong protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, ensuring stable electrical characteristics and reliable high-speed data transfer. Permanent link certification confirms suitability for structured cabling installations. PoE support allows the same cable to deliver data and power to compatible devices.

Suitable for

• Structured building cabling according to ISO/IEC 11801 and related standards
• 10GBase-T networks and data centers
• Power over Ethernet (PoE/PoE+) device connections
• Indoor installation where CPR class Cca is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7a
• Shielding: S/FTP (individually shielded pairs with overall tinned-copper braid)
• Maximum transmission frequency: 1500 MHz
• Data transfer rate: up to 10 Gbit/s
• Length: 500 m
• Colour: Yellow
• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T
• Fire performance: CPR class Cca

How to use

Install the cable as part of a permanent link in structured cabling runs between patch panels, switches and termination points, following applicable installation standards and local regulations. Terminate the cable with compatible RJ45 connectors or keystone jacks rated for Cat7a and S/FTP shielding, and test the permanent link to confirm performance and certification results before putting the network into service.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid tight bends and excessive pulling forces during installation, maintain correct separation from power lines and large electromagnetic sources, and perform certified testing to verify 10GBase-T compliance and permanent link specifications.
