Cavo di prolunga USB ATEN UE-250 5m

The ATEN USB Extender Cable UE-250 (5m) extends the distance between a computer and USB 2.0 devices up to five metres using a dynamic extension cord. The compact black unit measures 60.2 mm × 40 mm × 24 mm, is USB-powered and preserves USB 2.0 signal integrity to ensure reliable data transfer without requiring an external power adapter.

Advantages

The UE-250 supports USB 2.0 standard signaling to maintain optimal signal integrity over the extended length. Its compact, lightweight design simplifies placement and cable routing, and USB power eliminates the need for an additional power supply. The 5 m extension provides flexibility when connecting peripherals that cannot be placed close to the host system.

Suitable for

• Extending connection for keyboards and mice
• Connecting printers and scanners located away from the PC
• Attaching external storage devices where additional reach is required
• Point-of-sale peripherals and desktop accessories

How to use

Connect the UE-250 between the host computer’s USB port and the USB device you want to extend. The cable draws power from the host USB port automatically; no separate power connection is necessary. Ensure both ends are fully inserted and secure before use. For best results, avoid tightly coiling the cable and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources.

Recommendations

Use the UE-250 with USB 2.0 devices to maintain full signal integrity over the 5 m extension. Do not rely on the extender for high-power USB devices that may require dedicated external power; if a device exhibits instability, connect it directly to a powered hub or to the host port.
