Cavo di rete BlueOptics GA2DWCZ MPO-4xLC multimodale OM4 5 metri

The BlueOptics GA2DWCZ MPO-4xLC Multimode OM4 Patch Cable 5 Meter is a fiber optic trunk designed for parallel optical connections in high-density network environments. With a 5 m jacket length and MPO-to-4xLC termination, this multimode OM4 cable provides high bandwidth capacity and low insertion loss for short-reach, high-speed links commonly used in data centers and enterprise aggregation points. The construction supports reliable signal transmission and consistent performance in structured cabling and patching applications.

Advantages

This MPO–4xLC multimode OM4 cable combines a compact MPO connector with four LC simplex terminations to enable easy deployment in cassette modules and high-density panels. The OM4 fiber grade offers higher modal bandwidth compared with lower multimode types, improving performance for 10G, 40G and 100G parallel optical links over short distances. The pre-terminated 5 m length reduces onsite termination time and helps maintain consistent insertion loss and return loss characteristics across channels.

How to use

Install the MPO end into the MPO trunk or cassette port aligned to the keying orientation, and connect the four LC ends to the corresponding LC ports on the target patch panel or transceivers, observing polarity and transceiver channel mapping. Avoid excessive bending of the fiber jacket and route the cable through appropriate trays or management panels to prevent strain. Verify connections with optical test equipment if required to confirm insertion loss and end-to-end continuity.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a clean environment; use dust caps on unused connectors. Maintain minimum bend radius as specified by multimode fiber guidelines and avoid sharp kinks. For high-density deployments, use compatible MPO cassettes or harnesses to simplify polarity management and ensure reliable channel mapping.
