Cavo di rete ProXtend CAT5e U/UTP CCA PVC rosso 0,25 m

The ProXtend CAT5e U/UTP CCA PVC Red 0.25m network cable is a short patch cable designed for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) connections. Constructed with copper-clad aluminium (CCA) strands and 26 AWG conductors, it supports data rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and comes with male RJ-45 connectors at both ends and gold-plated contacts.

Advantages

This CAT5e U/UTP cable offers a cost-effective alternative to pure copper cables by using CCA conductors while maintaining compatibility with standard Ethernet equipment. The cable includes strain relief and latch protection for more durable, secure connections, and its red PVC jacket helps identify and organize network runs.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections between devices (switches, routers, PCs)
• Home and small office networks requiring Gigabit-capable links over short distances
• Colour-coded cable management and temporary setups

Key specifications

• Length: 0.25 m
• Conductor type: Copper-clad aluminium (CCA), 26 AWG
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, male
• Standard: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Shielding: U/UTP
• Contacts: Gold-plated
• Colour: Red
• Weight: 0.0196 kg

How to use

Connect each RJ-45 plug to the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices, ensuring the latch clicks into place. Use for short-distance patching inside racks, between wall sockets and network equipment, or to replace an existing short cable. Avoid excessive bending near the strain relief to maintain connector integrity.

Recommendations

For reliable Gigabit performance keep cable runs short and avoid using CCA cables in installations where long continuous copper runs or PoE power delivery are critical; for such cases, consider full-copper CAT5e or higher-rated cables.
