Cavo di rete ROLINE Cat6a 10m

The ROLINE Cat6a 10m networking cable is a shielded U/UTP Ethernet cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission over a 10 metre distance. Fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, the grey cable supports modern wired network setups and provides reduced electromagnetic interference compared to unshielded alternatives. Its length and connector type make it suitable for connecting network devices in offices, server rooms, or home networks where consistent throughput is required.

Advantages

The U/UTP shielding improves signal integrity by limiting external interference without adding bulk to the cable, while the Cat6a specification supports higher bandwidth and better performance for gigabit and multi-gigabit applications. Pre-terminated RJ-45 connectors ensure immediate compatibility with standard Ethernet ports and a simple plug-and-play installation. The 10 m length gives flexibility in device placement without the need for additional couplers or patch panels.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, switches and routers in office environments
• Wiring networked devices in home entertainment or home office setups
• Short runs between patch panels and network equipment in small server rooms

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a (augmented Category 6)
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall foil shield with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 10 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Verify that both network ports accept RJ-45 connectors and are powered off or in a safe state if required by your equipment. Insert one RJ-45 connector firmly into the source device and the other into the destination device until each connector clicks into place. For best results, route the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources such as large power cables, motors or fluorescent lighting to preserve signal quality. If longer runs or structured cabling are needed, use appropriate patch panels or certified installers.

Recommendations

The ROLINE Cat6a 10m cable is intended for indoor network installations. Avoid tight bends, sharp kinks and excessive tension on the cable; maintain the manufacturer’s recommended bend radius. For environments with high electromagnetic interference or where individual-pair shielding is required, consider a fully shielded alternative.
