Cavo di rete ShiverPeaks BS08-41012-2 Cat8.1 0,5 m F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41012-2 Cat8.1 0.5m F/FTP networking cable provides a short, high-performance connection for modern Ethernet networks. Designed to meet Category 8.1 specifications, this 0.5 metre cable supports multi-gigabit and 25/40 Gbps-class transmission rates over short distances. F/FTP shielding (foil overall with individually foiled twisted pairs) and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors reduce electromagnetic interference and ensure reliable contact for consistent data transfer in home and office environments.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat8.1 compliance ensures high bandwidth and low crosstalk for demanding network applications while the F/FTP construction provides robust protection against external noise. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs enhance conductivity and resist corrosion, improving long-term connection stability. The compact 0.5 m length minimizes signal loss for short interconnects and keeps installations neat where space is limited.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, patch panels and network interfaces within racks or compact workstations
• High-speed local links between network devices where short cable runs are needed
• Home or office setups requiring low-latency, high-throughput connections for servers, NAS or gaming PCs

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat8.1 compliant
• Length: 0.5 metres
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil with individually foiled pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Transmission: suitable for multi-gigabit and 25/40 Gbps class short-distance links

How to use

Plug one gold-plated RJ-45 connector into the network interface of the source device and the other into the destination device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Use this 0.5 m cable for short interconnects inside racks, between adjacent devices on a desktop, or to replace existing short patch cords to improve signal integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive crushing of the cable; maintain gentle routing and secure with non-compressive cable ties. Use within recommended ambient temperature ranges of your network equipment and keep the cable length appropriate to the application to preserve Cat8.1 transmission characteristics.
