Cavo DVI-I Dual Link connettore maschio-connettore maschio 1,50 m ACT AK3953

The ACT DVI-I Dual Link cable male-male 1.50 m AK3953 is a black video connection cable designed for transmitting high-resolution digital and analog signals between DVI-compatible devices. With DVI-I connectors on both ends and a 1.5 metre length, this cable supports dual-link bandwidth for improved image detail where devices also support dual-link DVI. It is intended for reliable point-to-point connections such as monitors, projectors and graphics cards that accept DVI-I plugs.

Advantages

This DVI-I Dual Link cable combines digital and analog signal compatibility in a single connector type, allowing connection to a wide range of devices that use DVI-I. The dual-link wiring enables higher pixel rates compared with single-link DVI when both source and display support it, improving support for higher resolutions. The 1.5 m length offers moderate reach for desktop or AV rack setups while maintaining signal integrity across the cable run. The black jacket provides a discreet appearance for office and home installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop graphics cards to DVI-I monitors
• Linking projectors to DVI-I sources in meeting rooms
• AV setups requiring both analog and digital DVI compatibility
• Replacing or extending an existing DVI-I cable within 1.5 m distance

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1.5 m
• Connector type (both ends): DVI-I male
• Link type: Dual Link (supports higher bandwidth where supported by devices)
• Colour: Black
• Signal support: Digital and analog DVI signals

How to use

Ensure both source and display devices have DVI-I ports and are powered off before connecting. Align the DVI-I male connector with the DVI-I female socket, insert gently and secure the thumbscrews if present to prevent loosening. Power on the devices and configure display settings on the source device to select the appropriate resolution and refresh rate. If dual-link capability is required, confirm that both source and display support dual-link DVI and select the higher resolution in the display settings.

Recommendations

Avoid tight bends or sharp kinks in the cable and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources to preserve signal quality. For runs longer than 1.5 m, consider using a certified longer dual-link DVI cable or an alternative interface that meets the required resolution and distance. Periodically check connector screws and contacts for cleanliness to ensure a stable connection.
