Cavo in fibra ottica BlueOptics AJ839A 50 m LC OM3 aqua

The BlueOptics AJ839A 50 m LC OM3 Aqua fibre optic cable is designed for high-speed network connections in data centres, server rooms and structured cabling systems. With OM3 multimode fibre characteristics and LC connectors at both ends, this 50-metre aqua-coloured cable supports reliable short- to medium-distance transmission and is suitable for modern 10G networking and other high-bandwidth applications. The aqua jacket provides standardized colour coding for easy identification among multiple fibre runs.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable combines OM3-grade multimode performance with compact LC connectors to deliver low insertion loss and consistent signal integrity over its 50 m length. The standardized aqua jacket aids cable management and rapid identification in patch panels and fibre trunks. The cable's construction is optimized for installation in indoor network environments, providing flexibility for routing and termination while maintaining optical performance.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links within data centres and server rooms
• Short- to medium-reach multimode fibre backbones and horizontal runs
• Patch panels, fibre distribution frames and network equipment interconnects
• Structured cabling installations requiring colour-coded multimode fibres

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Connector type: LC to LC
• Length: 50 m
• Core/cladding diameter: 125 µm (standard multimode cladding)
• Jacket colour: aqua (industry standard for OM3)

How to use

Install the cable by routing it through the planned cable pathways and securing it with appropriate supports to avoid tight bends and excessive stress. Terminate both ends into LC-compatible ports on transceivers, patch panels or network devices, ensuring connectors are clean before insertion to minimise optical loss. For best performance, maintain bend radii in accordance with the fibre manufacturer's recommendations and avoid kinks or crushing during installation and operation.

Recommendations

For reliable 10G performance, use this OM3 cable with LC transceivers and keep connector endfaces clean; store and handle the cable to prevent sharp bends and contamination that can degrade signal quality.
