Cavo in fibra ottica BlueOptics ASRC-BO 2x LC LC/UPC OM3 30 m acqua

The BlueOptics ASRC-BO 2x LC LC/UPC OM3 30 m Aqua fibre optic cable is a multimode duplex patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in network and data centre environments. With two LC connectors on each end and OM3 graded fibre, this 30-metre cable supports reliable short- to medium-range links where low loss and consistent bandwidth are required. The aqua jacket and LC/UPC terminations indicate industry-standard multimode OM3 installation ready for common networking equipment.

Advantages

This OM3 multimode cable delivers stable, high-bandwidth performance suitable for 10 GbE and other high-speed interconnects over moderate distances. The LC/UPC connectors provide low return loss and secure connection in patch panels and transceivers. A 30 m length reduces the need for intermediate connections, while the duplex 2x LC configuration supports full-duplex links. The durable outer jacket and standardized connector type make the cable compatible with a wide range of enterprise and data centre hardware.

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each LC connector into the corresponding LC port on network devices such as switches, transceivers or patch panels. Ensure connectors are clean and free of dust before mating to avoid signal loss. Route the cable along appropriate cable management paths to prevent tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for OM3 multimode fibre. For duplex operation, match the transmit and receive channels on both ends to maintain correct signal direction.

Recommendations

Use LC dust caps during storage and verify connector cleanliness with appropriate cleaning tools before installation. For optimal performance in 10 Gbit/s applications, avoid excessive bend radius and protect the cable from crushing or prolonged exposure to harsh environmental conditions. Use labelled patching in high-density environments to simplify maintenance.
