Cavo in fibra ottica BlueOptics CAB-OM4-SN-LC-7.5M-BO SN LC OM4 7,5 m rosa

The BlueOptics CAB-OM4-SN-LC-7.5M-BO is a 7.5 meter OM4 multimode fibre optic patch cable featuring an SN/UPC connector on one end and an LC/UPC connector on the other. Designed for high-speed data links and InfiniBand applications, this cable uses 50 µm laser-optimized multimode fibre and a low-smoke, zero-halogen (LSZH) outer sheath for installations where reduced smoke and no halogen emissions are required. The cable is produced and tested to industrial standards to ensure consistent attenuation and return loss performance and is suitable for connecting transceivers, patch panels and other optical network ports.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre cable offers low attenuation and high return loss values suitable for demanding multimode links. Connectors are manufactured with zirconia ceramic ferrules for long service life and consistent mating performance. The LSZH jacket provides improved fire safety characteristics compared with PVC-sheathed cables. Each cable is tested with interferometry and OTDR and is supplied with measurement data to document input loss and return loss.

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness before insertion and clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools if necessary. Route the cable without sharp bends and respect the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius to avoid increased attenuation. Insert the SN/UPC and LC/UPC connectors into their corresponding ports or transceivers until they click or seat firmly. Confirm signal presence and verify link performance using appropriate test equipment; compare measured attenuation and return loss against system requirements.

Recommendations

Store and install the cable in a dry environment; avoid exposure to direct sunlight and chemical solvents. For best performance, use with compatible OM4-rated transceivers and patch panels and follow regular inspection and cleaning routines for fibre connectors. Replace the cable if connector endface damage or excessive loss is observed.
