Cavo in fibra ottica BlueOptics EFE080-0015M-R-BO LC LC/UPC 15 m giallo

The BlueOptics EFE080-0015M-R-BO LC to LC/UPC fibre optic cable is a single-mode G.657.A1 patch cord designed for reliable, low-loss data transmission over a 15 meter length. The cable uses a 9 µm core single-mode fibre and LC/UPC connectors on both ends, with a yellow jacket for clear visual identification in structured cabling environments. It is suitable for applications requiring stable optical connections and precise alignment between network devices.

Advantages

This single-mode G.657.A1 fibre cable provides reduced bending loss compared with standard single-mode types, enabling installation in environments with limited routing space or tighter bend radii. The LC/UPC connectors offer low back reflection and repeatable mating performance, while the 9 µm core supports long-distance, high-bandwidth signal transmission. The 15 m length balances reach and manageability for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-equipment links.

How to use

Inspect the LC/UPC connectors and ensure connector endfaces are clean before installation. Route the cable along designated cable trays or cable management guides, avoiding sharp bends beyond the recommended bend radius for G.657.A1 fibre. Insert the LC connectors into compatible LC ports on transceivers, patch panels, or devices, ensuring a secure and click-fit connection. After connection, verify optical link status and, if required, perform optical power or insertion loss testing to confirm link performance.

Recommendations

Regularly clean connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools and avoid excessive bending or tension on the cable. For critical links, document routing and test results to maintain traceability and facilitate troubleshooting.
