Cavo in fibra ottica BlueOptics HE67908QPH-JB001M-BO MTP OM4 1 m viola

The BlueOptics HE67908QPH-JB001M-BO MTP OM4 1 m Violet is a single-unit fibre optic cable engineered for high-density, high-bandwidth network environments. This 1 metre cable uses OM4 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter and MTP connectors on both ends to provide stable, low-loss connections suitable for InfiniBand and other high-speed interconnects. The violet jacket supports visual identification in cabling bundles while the compact MTP housings enable space-saving port configurations in patch panels and transceiver arrays.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable offers low insertion loss and consistent multimode performance across standard wavelengths used in data centres. The MTP connectors ensure precise multi-fibre alignment for reduced return loss and reliable channel performance. Its OM4 specification supports higher modal bandwidth compared with lower-grade multimode fibres, enabling extended reach and greater headroom for 10/25/40/100 GbE and InfiniBand links. The violet colour simplifies cable management and identification without affecting optical performance.

How to use

Ensure both ends of the cable and the mating connectors on equipment are clean and free from dust before insertion. Align the MTP connector keying with the port orientation and insert the connector until it latches securely; avoid forcing the connector to prevent endface damage. Route the cable to minimize tight bends and mechanical stress—maintain bend radii according to multimode fibre guidelines. When disconnecting, unlatch the connector and pull straight out without twisting to preserve connector integrity.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use this OM4 MTP cable within recommended multimode reach for your specific data rate and transceiver type, keep endfaces clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools, and manage bundles with proper labeling and bend-radius controls to sustain long-term signal quality.
