Cavo in fibra ottica BlueOptics SFP2122BU25MS 25 m LC–SC G.657.A1 giallo

BlueOptics SFP2122BU25MS is a 25 m single‑mode fiber optic patch cable with an LC connector at one end and an SC connector at the other. The cable uses ITU‑T G.657.A1 bend‑insensitive fiber in a yellow outer jacket for quick visual identification. It is intended for optical network links, telecom equipment interconnects and fiber patch panels where low insertion loss and flexible routing are important.

Advantages

The use of G.657.A1 bend‑insensitive fiber reduces signal attenuation in tight bends and confined pathways, enabling neater cable routing and more reliable connections. The LC–SC duplex termination provides compatibility with a wide range of transceivers and patch panels. The 25 m length covers medium‑range runs within data centers, telecom rooms and campus environments while the yellow jacket conforms to common color coding for single‑mode fiber.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting transceivers and optical modules in networking equipment
• Patching between fiber panels and active devices in data centers
• Telecom and office backbone links requiring single‑mode fiber
• Environments with constrained routing where bend‑insensitive fiber is beneficial

Key specifications

• Fiber type: ITU‑T G.657.A1 single‑mode bend‑insensitive fiber
• Length: 25 meters
• Connectors: LC (one end) to SC (other end)
• Mode: Single‑mode
• Jacket color: Yellow for single‑mode identification
• Cable structure: Patch cable designed for optical patch panels and short to medium interconnects

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces before insertion and clean if necessary using appropriate fiber cleaning tools. Insert the LC connector into LC ports and the SC connector into SC ports, ensuring secure seating in adapters or transceiver sockets. Route the cable following standard bend‑radius recommendations for G.657.A1 fiber to minimize microbending and maintain low loss. When removing, release any retention clips or latches before pulling to avoid damage to connectors or ports.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, store and handle the cable following manufacturer guidelines: avoid tight knots, maintain gentle loops exceeding the minimum bend radius, and use dust caps on unused connectors. Regular inspection and cleaning of endfaces will help sustain low insertion loss and reliable optical links.
