Cavo in fibra ottica BlueOptics SFP2222BU10MK SC G.657.A1 10 m giallo

The BlueOptics SFP2222BU10MK SC G.657.A1 10 m Yellow fibre optic cable is a single-mode patch cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. With SC connectors on both ends and bend-insensitive G.657.A1 fibre, this 10-metre cable supports low-loss signal transport and compact routing in confined spaces. The yellow outer jacket provides clear visual identification and protection against mechanical wear, making the cable suitable for structured cabling in data centres, telecom rooms, and network racks.

Advantages

The cable combines SC push-pull connectors with G.657.A1 bend-insensitive single-mode fibre to minimise insertion loss and maintain signal integrity over 10 metres. Its durable yellow jacket enhances visibility and helps with cable management while offering basic mechanical protection. The standardised SC interface ensures broad compatibility with SFP modules, patch panels, and optical transceivers commonly used in enterprise and telecom environments.

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces before use and clean them if necessary to ensure optimal optical performance. Gently insert each SC connector into the corresponding SC receptacle until it clicks into place; avoid twisting or applying excessive force. Route the cable along designated pathways or cable management trays, observing minimum bend radius guidelines to preserve the bend-insensitive characteristics of G.657.A1 fibre. When disconnecting, press the SC latch and pull straight out to avoid stress on the fibre.

Recommendations

For best results, keep connector endfaces covered when not in use and perform regular inspection and cleaning. Use proper cable ties and routing channels to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain; although G.657.A1 improves bend tolerance, maintaining recommended bend radii will prolong service life and preserve signal quality.
