Cavo in fibra ottica BlueOptics SFP2222BU50MK SC G.657.A1 50 m giallo

The BlueOptics SFP2222BU50MK SC G.657.A1 50 m Yellow fibre optic cable is a 50-metre single-mode patch cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in structured cabling and telecom installations. With SC connectors on both ends and compliance with ITU-T G.657.A1 bending-loss specifications, this yellow cable provides consistent signal integrity over longer distances while remaining compatible with standard single-mode equipment.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable offers low attenuation and enhanced bend tolerance according to the G.657.A1 profile, reducing sensitivity to tight routing paths in racks and conduit. The SC push-pull connectors ensure stable mechanical connection and straightforward installation. The yellow jacket provides industry-standard color coding for single-mode links, simplifying identification and cable management in multi-cable environments.

How to use

Route the cable along the planned cable path avoiding excessive bending beyond manufacturer bend-radius guidance. Clean SC connector end-faces before mating to active equipment or patch panels to maintain optical performance. Insert the SC connectors until the latch engages; ensure connectors are fully seated to avoid signal loss. For rack installations, secure excess length with appropriate cable management to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Store the cable coiled without sharp kinks and protect connector end-faces with dust caps when not connected. Use this single-mode cable for links requiring low loss and better bend tolerance; avoid tight looping and exposure to sharp edges to preserve optical performance.
