Cavo in fibra ottica BlueOptics SFP2222BU7.5MK SC G.657.A1 7,5 m giallo

The BlueOptics SFP2222BU7.5MK SC G.657.A1 is a single-mode fibre optic patch cable with a 7.5 m length and duplex SC connectors on both ends. Designed to meet the G.657.A1 bend-insensitive fibre specification, this yellow cable is intended for reliable indoor network connections where space constraints and tight bends are present. The cable supports low attenuation and stable signal transmission for high-bandwidth applications, including InfiniBand and other high-performance networking environments.

Advantages

This SC–SC single-mode cable provides low insertion loss and predictable optical performance compliant with G.657.A1 bend-insensitive fibre characteristics. The 7.5 m length offers flexibility for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-equipment connections while the yellow jacket enables quick visual identification in structured cabling systems. Duplex SC connectors ensure secure mating and consistent alignment for duplex data streams, contributing to reduced downtime and simple replacement or reconfiguration.

How to use

Route the cable along the planned pathway ensuring bends do not exceed the minimum bend radius recommended for G.657.A1 fibre. Insert the SC connectors into the corresponding SC ports until they click into place, observing correct polarity for duplex links. Avoid sharp kinks and secure the cable with appropriate cable management clips or ties to prevent stress on the connectors. When disconnecting, depress the SC latch and pull straight to avoid damaging the ferrule or connector housing.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep connector end faces clean using a lint-free wipe or appropriate fibre cleaning tool before mating. Use this cable for indoor, short-to-medium length single-mode links where bend-insensitive properties improve routing options; verify compatibility with equipment supporting SC duplex interfaces and InfiniBand or other targeted protocols.
