Cavo in fibra ottica BlueOptics X66260-15-BO InfiniBand 15 m LC giallo

The BlueOptics X66260-15-BO InfiniBand/fibre optic cable 15 m LC Yellow is a 15 meter single‑mode patch cable with LC to LC connectors and G.657.A1 laser‑optimized fibre. Designed for full‑duplex, high‑speed optical links, this cable is intended for use in data centres, server racks and network equipment where reliable single‑mode connectivity is required. The cable uses a 125 µm core diameter fibre and is jacketed in a yellow LSZH sheath for flame retardance and low smoke emissions.

Advantages

This LC–LC G.657.A1 patch cable provides low attenuation per kilometer and high return loss, supporting efficient long‑distance signal transmission with minimal insertion loss. Components include high‑quality branded fibre and durable zirconia ceramic ferrules to ensure consistent mating performance and a long operational lifetime. The LSZH jacket reduces halogen release and smoke in case of fire and the cable undergoes interferometer and OTDR testing with measurement results supplied for input loss and return loss.

How to use

Connect one LC connector to the transmitting port and the other LC connector to the receiving port of the corresponding transceiver or patch panel. Ensure connectors are clean and free of dust before mating to avoid increased insertion loss; use appropriate fibre cleaning tools if necessary. Route the cable following rack and trunking guidelines, avoid tight bends below the minimum bend radius for G.657.A1 fibre, and secure the cable to prevent mechanical strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a dry, dust‑free environment and always verify connector cleanliness before installation. For installation in confined or plenum spaces where fire safety is critical, use the LSZH sheath as specified. If lower return loss is required for a particular application, consult measurement data provided with the cable and consider polish or connector type adjustments through qualified support.
